KAPPA AKADEMY
Achievement Starts Early
Kappa Akademy is a STEM-based, mentorship program for boys 8-13. The program was developed to stimulate an early interest in technology-based fields of study by exposing students to applied science, math, and technology while mentoring them in life skills. The Kappa Academy was created in 2005 to address the epidemic of low math and science scores among young minority boys. Kappa Academy is an opportunity to enrich and enhance the education that our young students receive at their respective schools. The program will enhance knowledge in math, science, and technology. In addition, our program may discuss social, political, and other economic issues that may affect the participants in our program.
